Hey

Has anyone bothered wrapping their relentless manifold , would it make any difference performance wise ??

Cheers

Probably just cause it to crack quicker retaining heat.

Is it worth it tho , I'm not sold on the idea but a friend thought it would help with egts ?

it wont reduce egt's if thats what you would be trying to achieve. it will stop everything around it from melting tho if additional other heatshielding is'nt fitted

Wouldnt the manifold be more prone to cracking if it was heat wrapped. its made out of paperclips anyway...

potentially less so.....

rapid heat cool cycles on something as "expandy" as a stainless steel is what creates fatigue stress, so slower cycles may in fact help its life keeping it hot. but not excessively so...

thats one of the benefits of ceramic coatings.. but they cost more to apply properly than the cost of the manifold in the first place.
