Can anyone advise me on what to do to get rid of this? I’ve read it could be a sensor which usually goes.

You need to scan the car to see what's going on first.
When you start the car do both headlights do the up and down/left and right test ?
Had any work done to them or the suspension recently ?

When I start the car the headlights do go up and down I can’t say I’ve seen them go left and right.
I’ve had new tyres on but warning was on before that

This was a knackered rear level sensor for me but my lights weren’t going up and down before I got it fixed. You will need to get it scanned with VCDS
If I want to do it myself, can I use the free software from ross tech? And I want a cable but been told they’re about £200
Cables you can buy from UK suppliers for around £225 ( https://m.gendan.co.uk/vcds-hex-usb-can.php ) out the Vcd's map and see if someone is close to you who will do a Autoscan for you 4 a few beer tokens
