Headlight washer cover

Hi folks,

My headlight wash cover was either pinched or it fell off, after buying a new one today can someone advise on how it is fitted back in place. Do I need to pull the washer mechanism out and if so is it just a case of pulling it out or is there a guide for fitting this part.

Its fixed to the headlight washer pump iirc, you need to pull it out as its sprung loaded & hold whilst attaching, of course after its painted, lacquered & dry.

Hi, I have just got around to painting the wash cover. Is it just a case of pulling on the wash mechanism with a pair of pliers etc so that it comes out.

Hi, thanks for the video link. I didn't want to just pull out the mechanism incase I damaged it. Ii will try this tomorrow. Thanks once again.
