Headlight removal, bumper off?

I may be moving to Gibraltar next year and, if so, will need to replace my headlights with LHD units. Has anyone removed their headlights before and does one need to remove the front bumper to do so? I'm hoping not, but I suspect in vain.

Im sure there's a setting in VCDS if you looking to change the beam of the light? I'm sure someone will correct me if im wrong?

I believe that's only for xenon headlights, happy to stand corrected though.

There is a Tourist setting in the MMI to change Xenons for driving on the other side of the road.

I don't have xenon headlights though, unfortunately.

Yeah the bumper needs to come off, there is a screw holding the headlight unit in which needs to be accessed from underneath
