The headlights on my 2010 S6 have some nasty scratches in them along the top edge.
As S6 lamps are pretty hard to come by second hand, I was wondering if I can use the lamps off a pre facelift A6 instead?
I have bi-xenon with range control/levelling but not adaptive/cornering. The only issue i can see is that my lights use the outer of the two lamps for dip and main beam and the inner lamps are only for fog lights/coming home lights. Therefore i assume the reflector assembly is probably different?
Alternatively, could it get some second hand halogen lamps and seperate the clear front lens and swap it onto my own lamp (i did this previously on my Jaguar)?
