headlamp washer

Question about the headlamp washer pump...

Mine is knackered, the pump is pulling about 24 amps but is fused at 20 amps.

So befor i replace it, how does it fit into the washer fluid bottle?
I would guess there is like a rubber grommet or something similar and the old pump will pull out and the replacement push in?

any advice?

Anyone? Please?
I just need to find out how the pump is removed from the tank and refittted?
also vag-cat had two part numbers, 3B7955681 and 1J0973722A. What is the difference (if any) between these two?
