Headlamp A6 C6 can they be swapped for later C6

I have a 2005 A6 With poor headlamps main beam is poor I currently have the bi xenon and I have seen the later 08 with the DRL at the lower part of the headlights they look like led type and not where the main beam halogen goes.
Question will that swap over to mine and do they do a xenon version with a separate main beam. And is it technically and physically possible.

Yes it a possible retrofit and the fit straight in, but they need a harness adapter and a facelift central electric module, it not straight forward. Kufatec sell the harness adapter, and I think you would need to get CP removed from the module at Audi.
