Although apparently BMW UK are already killing the X3 M40i, and just leaving the M40d, so maybe where Audi lead others will follow?
No I dont think so either. An M340i Touring is now on my list for next car as the size works for me, just need to let the discounts ramp up a bit first!
Looks pretty good. Wonder how muchCat amongst pigeons: https://www.press.bmwgroup.com/unit...il/T0297033EN_GB/the-new-bmw-3-series-touring
M340i launched with inline 6 petrol, 374bhp, 500Nm torque, 4.5s to 62mph. Orders from around now, deliveries begin end September...

Going to start at low to mid forties surely.

Models go missing on BMW UKs website all the time. A fairly well known dealer says the X3 M40i will be back by the end of the month with a slightly higher state of tune B58 engine
on which car?Hope you can turn off the droning exhaust noise - sounds terrible.

New S4 looks like a complete backwards step to me both in terms of diesel and infotainment. I won't be buying one.
My theory is that the decision of Porsche to drop diesel left a large number (and production investment) of the 3L diesel uncalled for. Conversely, given the that the 3L TFSi we currently have in our S4s is the natural replacement for many of those Porsche diesels, there is a shortage of them for Audi. I don't think it has anything to do with emissions and so on.
Might force me into an RS4 or more likely a BMW.
According to here e-diesel was created by Audi https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/E-diesel https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/E-diesel

This E-diesel had better not become t-o-o popular, lest it strangely disappears into that multi-national corporate black hole.According to here e-diesel was created by Audi https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/E-diesel https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/E-diesel

Top of the class, sir!!They will blame it on Brexit !!!!
Interesting in the graph that petrol for the last years approx. constant whilst increase in hybrid/ev equates to similar decrease in diesel.
Not the "S" model diesel then.https://www.autocar.co.uk/car-news/industry/audi-used-four-defeat-devices-v6-diesel Audi used four 'defeat' devices to cheat emissions test...
