Have I dropped a boll**k??

so I ordered my bilstein B12 kit over the weekend (should be here monday) but I've ordered the kit with 50mm diameter struts, is this right for my car? I've just rang the company I brought them from and they can't tell me if I need the 50mm or 55mm and now I'm worried I've ordered the wrong kit. Going to be hard to measure the diameter accurately while they are on the car and I just wondered if there was any other way to find out.

What size engine is your car mate?
If I remember right 1.6l and smaller is 50mm
I'm sure someone could correct me if I'm wrong.

If you're right I've dropped a ******* lol. Thing is though on the site it says 2.0 tdi for the 50mm and the 55mm so seems like they did both on the 2.0tdi. Great! Lol.

The 2.0tdi uses 55mm struts. I think the 1.9tdi might use 50mm

The 2.0TDi will nearly always be a 55mm front strut diameter.

From my research 1.9 is 50mm and 2.0tdi is 55mm

Just seems weird to me that they do 2 different sizes and quote that they both fit the 1.9 and 2.0 TDi.

Can't you just ring and tell them you want the 55mm? Should be the same price as the 50mm seeing as though they're saying it'll fit both?
