Handbrake not releasing, indicators and hazards playing up??

Hi

I'm just wondering if anyone can shed any light on what's happened today on my B8.5 Avant.

Basically the car was running fine, got back in, turned ignition on and the first thing I noticed was that the indicator light on the dash is flashing faster than normal. I've had a walk around and all the bulbs look to be ok and the indicators are flashing at the normal speed.

Also the handbrake won't release automatically, and finally the hazard lights won't turn on.

All this seemed to happen simultaneously.

I have checked all the fuses and they look ok.

No, I don't without taking it to the garage.

There's a vcds map. Check for someone local.

Just got in the car and now there's a battery low warning and the parking sensors don't work. Help needed!

Time to replace the battery/or charge it & see how it goes.
When the battery on these cars is knackered/flat all sorts of strange errors occur
