Hi guys, whats the difference between these 2 haldex upgrades?...
Ones a fixed change. Install blue unit. Change is made. You have no say.
Ones a touch screen user programmable controller that does exactly what you want when you want it and can be adjusted as often as you desire.
So touch screen better really.can it be made 60% rear / 40 fwd permanent?
No. nothing can ever do that on an s3.
The best you can hope for is permanent 50:50 and a burnt out haldex clutch pack
Ok. would you advise spending the £600 on the controller, or on uprated anti- roll bars?
Thing is with blue controller if it packs in its (which is quite common now as there old ) it's no use to anyone and £600+ wasted where as the hpa uses the standard controller which if haldex controller goes its lot cheaper to replace instead of forking out the 600+ again for another blue controller you just get another standard one as you or ready have the hpa upgrade. If that makes sense. The hpa is the smarter option. Me personally wouldn't spend £600+ on a blue controller that may last a few months
I'm sure tuffty and a few others has the hpa controller
Isn't there a hardware difference in the factory made controller as well?
Since HPA came out with their controller the blue ones should of dropped massively in price
Lots of fake ones out there too be be careful
HPA All the way because of all the settings you can run, even a eco mode to get the best MPG
I can't believe how much people still pay for the blue haldex crazy money
If you're going to buy one, get the HPA. Bought one in the US last month, haven't fitted it yet but having a little play on the touch screen n the functions it has are pretty cool.
