haldex question

Would it be possible to fill the haldex through the filter hole before putting the new filter in.

That's the way I done it last service but this time I have no one to help me so wondered if I could fill through the filter hole to save loosing any oil.

I always fill through the level check plug hole on the front of the unit. Just enough space to lie the tube of new oil alongside the exhaust. Works a treat and you can take your time and do it on your own.
