Hi, this isn’t my usual section to be posting in. I have a couple of S4s so usually knock about in that area and don’t know much about Haldex.
My mrs has a 2013 TT tdi Quattro, over Christmas we went shopping in it, I drove and we parked in a multi story car park. While on full lock going up the rear wheels felt like they where locked together and it felt like the inside wheel was hopping every now and again.
The mrs unbelievably said it’s been doing it a while and wasn’t too bothered! She bought the car second hand with aparrently FASH but it’s all electronic and didn’t come with a book so who knows! I had the Haldex service carried out by a local vw specialist and took it on some full lock turns and all seemed well.
She’s been shopping again today, parked in a multi story and she says it’s doing the same again!
Surely this isn’t normal and something is on its way out?
How much is it going to cost me?
Any help is much appreciated!
