Hi Guys,
I'm looking for some advise please.
The traction light keeps coming up while im driving. Had it diagnosed and the code shown is:
01324 - Control Module For 4WD (J492) - Sporadic No Communication

Ive been advised that this means the Haldex ECU is damaged and will need to be replaced!!
Can anyone confirm this is correct and if so any ideas on where i can get a replacement?
Ive seen a couple on Ebay for about £300, is this a fair price to pay??

Thanks,
Tom

Worth checking if the earthing strap is still intact. Otherwise I suspect you'll need a new controller. I was in the same boat last year and ended up with an uprated 'Blue' unit as it's cheaper new than an OE one from Audi. They are about £650 - £700 new and seem to go for around £500 mark on eBay.

I guess the issue with a second hand controller is it is likely to be a similar age to the one you've just taken off, so could fail quickly. But I guess that's just the same as any secondhand part.

Thanks guys,
This is probably a stupid question but do you mean the earthing strap for the ecu itself? If so im guessing it will be easy to locate?

Cheers,
Tom
