Just received mine.

Not fitted yet, but I have to comment on the packaging. Rather poor.

Box inside packet was obliterated, bulb foam sleeves both not around the bulb and one bulb bent. Bent it back but fairly confident it's ruined.

Just called my wife to check if mine arrived as well. Seems they have with the same condition. Looks like 1 or both may be screwed. Will fit tonight to check.

Fitted mine just now. The box was a state, the bulbs were missing the protective covers so were loose and nocking each other. Also quite dirty? Dont know if they were sitting around somewhere sandy or something. They seem to work so far, but are quite dull. Will see what they are like tonight when it gets dark. Definatly not as bright as the pictures, nor as white.

Jesus Christ.

Why are they being delivered in such a state?

Not recieved mine yet. A little disappointed because I've been waiting on these coming in for ages so I can also get my interior led's too!

Mine have arrived.
The box was a little crushed but not too bad.
I'll try to get time to fit this weekend.

Received mine with the cree sidelights, as above packaging wasn't great on fogs either, but Crees were very well packaged. Won't get chance to fit my fogs for a while.... Anybody got pics of there's fitted with latest batch?

Guys,

Sorry to hear about the messed up packaging, one answer is royal mail. When they leave me all boxs are nice and strong. Even when I package led's in the small square packs they always manage to "crush" them.

I can revise the packaging on the halogens but the cost per pair would go up quite a bit as it would be the plastic casing.

Please get some pictures up of the new batch for me as getting internet here is hard so I can see if any differances are there. Bulbs ordered are exactly the same as what's in my op. I have taken the pictures on my nikon camera with it focusing on the light.

Keep me posted, any issues I am happy to resolve on my return.

Thanks
Trups

Mine seem to be working ok at the moment. Will be keeping an eye on them, but they aint often on :) Going to re-wire up so they run with the DRL's in the future. TBH, mine were not all that bright, but after one evenings usage (was very foggy!) they seem to have brightened up.

Very very very tempted to buy these LED's that you sell too for my B7....... wife wouldnt be too happy though! :D

I'm sorry, that's just not the case.

The flimsy little box was not taped either end so it just collapsed to flat.

Then when you put that in a thin, unprotected plastic self-seal bag, disaster is bound to happen.

The bulb protectors are not as long as the bulb, and do not fit tightly enough to stay where they were put.

I have bought tons of bulbs from other places, mostly eBay, and that's the worst packaging I have ever seen.

Yes. Pull off the fog surround, unbolt (3 bolts), unclip cable, rotate bulb out and replace. At least that was what i did on my s4.

Do these work just as well as the original ones does when it comes to actually seeing when it is foggy or are they more for a better style?

when is the next order of these going to happen?

Hi t8ups

I currently have a set of Philips Diamond Vision 5000k head lamp bulbs, both for dipped and main, so will these match or will the difference be too vast to the point of it looking silly?

Cheers...

Are these still available? I bought two sets of H7's and side lamps but you were out of stock of these. Are they available now, if so am up for a pair.

Please advise,

Cheers

Dougie,

They shoudl be a good match to the philips.

Yes they are in stock, ignore the price in the OP.

Postage went up April 2nd so the new price is £14.10 posted to the uk or NI. PM me for payment links.

Hi, I got an a3 sportback 2006 model. What have you got in way of headlight bulbs - changed the rears to Led so would like to make the front brighter / whiter & more up to date ?
Let me know please, need to do this ASAP - but obviously don't want error lights on dash.

Cheers
Baz.

I'd be interested in this too.
