GTI International is now in its 29th year and growing every year. Created for you by AutoMetrix Publications and Volkswagen Driver magazine, it's a fabulous weekend show centred around the famous quarter-mile Sprint for everyone to have a go. There are concept cars, a massive Show 'n’ Shine and Concours area with over 200 cars on display and plenty of trade stands and amusements including a new race simulator. With well over 40 clubs booked it’s a festival feeling with plenty of overnight camping and on site fixed facilities. There is food, a great band, DJ and bar area to entertain everyone in the evening plus some fun on the Friday Pre-Event night courtesy of Comrades of VAG. This year will see us creating THE BIG GTI!
2016 being the 40th anniversary of the birth of the iconic Golf GTI and we want to celebrate that momentous event with a huge GTI logo arranged from as many GTIs as we can possibly get to the event. Happening on Sunday 10th July at midday. Once all cars are in position we will be taking aerial photos of the cars and owners. Pictures of the event will be available to all those attending Inters that weekend.
We need you and your GTI and as many other GTIs as possible. So join in. Register you and your car by emailing us at ThebigGTI@autometrix.co.uk with your name, address and car details.
