Grooved Discs +/-

Hi all,
I eventually went for 19's on my a4, prob is my discs look tiny, and i think that they're crap, will putting same size discs but grooved on make a difference, or should i be looking at bigger?????

Grooved will probably look even more pathetic - I'd definetely be looking at bigger discs!

if its a b5 go for the 312mm upgrade, it will cost you about £60 extra to do as all you need is the caliper carriers from an s3/tt then get the discs from a b6 3.0 quattro, standard pads.

I recently bought new upgrade parts, I paid Just over £120 inc Vat and Div for two VW/Audi 312mm carriers form Vagparts, good luck if you can find a 2nd hand TT pair, I looked for weeks with no luck, Once carriers have been changed the stock calipers and pads should fit with new 312mm disc, thats what I am waiting to do when the weather is not so wet.

yes straight swap, got mine second hand for £60 off here couple of years ago.
While your changing them it is also worth getting the new style brake disc shields (if yours is a pre facelift) this help with the poor wet weather braking.

Yes the 312 brake upgrade is pretty easy
Just need the caliper carriers
Red on the Anni golf ones will fit too or green from the Octavia vRS
Then go for some sexy discs
