Hi, i look after my pride and joy on a regular basis but its let down by a green mossy kind of substance in between the seals of windows and sunroof etc. What is the best way to get rid of this. I've considered one of those directional steam cleaners you get for kitchens but i'm worried this may damage paintwork. Any tips or ideas?? Thanks in advance. P

An all purpose cleaner (which has many interior and exterior uses by the way, you shouldn't be without it!) and perhaps a couple of detailing brushes. A toothbrush or some other slightly stiffish brush would also do the job. Allow the APC to soak into the green stuff, say 4 or 5 mins, and then use the brushes to agitate and remove.

I recently detailed a Polo that lives under trees and every nook and cranny was coated in it.

After the APC you will need to apply your protective layer again on the surrounding seals and/or paintwork again.

Hope this helps,
