Been thinking of getting some goodridge brake hoses to stick on my car but not too sure on which model I need. There's 2 models to choose from, SAU0600-4P which are for S3's between 1996-2000 and SAU0610-4P for S3's between 10/2001-05/2003. Now my car is a Y-reg 2001 registered car but according to elsawin that makes my car a 2000 (which I'm guessing is when my car would of been built).
So I'm thinking I need SAU0600-4P can anyone confirm?

More importantly how much are they going to improve braking performance?

I'm not sure on which version you need but when I installed Goodridge hoses on my old Golf GTI MKII, it improved the pedal feel and braking felt more direct with no more slight 'sponginess' (is that even a word?).

I did flush the brake fluid at the same time and that may have also contributed to the better 'feel' too.

Would do the brake fluid at the same time as well, anyone know how much fluid is needed to flush and bleed the brakes on an S3?

When my mate did mine i got 2x1litres of fluid and he said there was plenty!
