will golf mk4 exhaust fit audi a3?

well they run on the same floorpan, so the mounts and everything are the same. the only difference being, apparently you need to cut the bumper slightly to run the golf exhaust (which IMO looks better anyway) whereas the audi specific exhausts hang slightly lower under the bumper.
