Sussed it, you dont plug into factory ECU! Thats better than removing the anti-tamper ecu cage I tampered haha! Easily goes back on i guess
Yeah it's a good way to stop that pesky td1 error code popping up. Now this tuning is for the S3. What about other engines? Any developments for us slower kids?
1.4 TSI COD is available, and the 1.8TSI 180ps is actually scheduled to hit the dyno tomorrow

Mines not the 140bph variant. Just it's little brother the 122bhp. Any work for that petticoat engine?

Sorry guys, this week has been hectic at work to say the least so not had chance to have a mess around and clean it for some pictures.
Hopefully tomorrow will be a bit easier so we can start the blog for the car and give it a good clean for some pictures.
Can report back that the box has been performing brilliantly when I have been out and about in the car! As ever give us a shout if anyone wants to pop over and try it and/or order a box
Yeah, we have kits for the 122ps too,
A minimum extra 22 bhp and 30nm, the reason I say minimum is that until the S3 all of the cars have been dynod without my adjustments being made to the box. I'd think I'm reality you'd be looking at an additional 30hp and 50nm

any news on H&R Springs? & pics please!
Sorry mate.
To say things have been hectic for us since Christmas would be an under statement. Good in most ways but our progress thread has been neglected!
Anyway....
We finally managed to find time (after they sat under my desk for 3 weeks!) to fit the H&R springs and wheel spacers on Saturday afternoon. We have also had the DTUK/Shark tuning box on now for weeks and its great! PM me for pricing on this
The springs are great, they have stiffened up the ride a very slight amount and improved the handling when pushing it which is pretty much as you'd expect from H&R springs. The stance is spot on, it left the reverse rake intact at first but it has since leveled out. I will get updated pics soon as the below pic is just after fitting.
With the spacers we actually have 11mm Forge spacers on the front and 20mm TPI spacers at the back. We messed about with them and after much deliberation we decided this was the best combo. I'm going to try a set of 12mm TPI soon as we can then put a kit together that is all the same brand. No rubbing at all as yet, the 8V seems to have arches that are great for spacing/stance!
Anyway...a sneak pea before we get some proper pics with the springs settled.

Could you do the longer wheel bolts too as a spacers and bolts package? Would make it easier and a more complete package. You could call it the "S3 8V Stance Pack" haha

I have 20mm spacers all round in my a5 that I was going to take off and put on the s3. Do you think the front could take 20mm spacers?

Yes that is exactly as we are doing
spacers, bolts, lockers all in a kit. We thought 'track widening kit' rather than 'stance kit' haha20mm would be too much up front. Just get a set of 12's for the front.
Yes there is a kit for mag ride. Hoping to list them tomorrow on our site. Any springs will void the suspension warranty. Naughty but you could always get them swapped back if something does go wrong.

don't you think putting wider spacers at the back will change the balance of the car ?
It's wider at the frond because it needs to be so the car is not understeering too much, with those spacers you will make the car understeer even more.

In a word, no. We have put spacers at the front as well. It certainly feels more planted with the springs and spacers on.

UPDATE:
We are collecting the car from Forge Motorsport on Thursday. Next stop will TAROX for some big brakes and then Cobra Sport for a full 3" turbo back exhaust system upgrade.
I will post about the results of the trip to Forge when we have the dyno graphs but all I will say is we should have a 400 BHP package pretty soon
We are going to make the S3 8V section on our website a little different to the other parts with us having the demo car, so once we have done that I will post a link. We will have loads available for them shortly with fitting available as well.

No they are using ours to measure up for a bespoke kit for the S3 8V and we will be testing it.

Just dropped the car off yesterday for the exhaust development at Cobra Sport, so it'll be away for a few weeks again. I have some pics on my PC at work of the car and we are going to do a proper update this week along with properly populating the S3 8V on our site with every product we can offer so far which is quite a lot to be fair with the short length of time the 8V S3 has been out
