Gloss Black Wheel Question. Are the gray and white detail stripes removeable?

Trying to decide whether to go with black optics package but prefer gloss black to satin black wheels. Are the gray and white lines on the gloss back wheels decals or painted on?

They're under the lacquer, so a respray is required to change them.
