Just started a job with Caterpillar after dossing about for 18 months, easiest and best paid (by my standards) job Ive ever done, if Im not careful I'll be there forever...

My dream job though is this, I invested heavily in some shares when the market went tits up, Im hoping that within 4/5 years I'll have enough money to perhaps buy a disused warehouse over in Brum or maybe even Leicester and renovate it into some sort of music venue and run and manage that, that sounds a bit mental to most people but I cant ever see myself going down the marriage and 2.4 children route f*** that s***.... :)

When I'm not playing cricket or golf, I have been the Network Installations Manager at the University of Oxford for the last 7 years. Responsible for the private fibre optic network linking over 250 university and college buildings throughout the city, and currently planning the migration of ~25,000 analogue phone lines to VOIP during the next 7 years.

Cheers,

Which one? I was in two of them today picking up parts for the Audi, and trying to find parts for the Lancia.

Another IT bod here..

Primarily 2nd line support\service desk for the UK's leaders in Safety clothing, workwear, safety boots and safety equipment. However I am slowly migrating over to PHP development. Developing the in house service desk\ticket logging system (Hornbill SupportWorks) to the business requirements.

Keeps me busy\quiet\out of trouble.

That in Montrose then?

I'm a field engineer for an oil tools company. Basically travel the world trying to do as little as possible.

Only just read this reply...amazing! Hopefully they're going to get evicted as we found out this weekend that the landlord wants rid of them, and they're not paying rent so they have good reasons to get rid now. Fingers crossed it doesn't come down to violence...as i'm actually a pussy haha

Structural/architectural & secondary steelwork CAD draughtsman here working for a local engineering firm. If any of you have ever been in a republic store then you have probably used a staircase I have drawn.

Looking to go self employed ASAP, time to line my pockets instead of someone elses.

lol!
I'm no Iron Mike Tyson but after months of a neighbour making noise with his mates throughout the night and numerous polite visits to their house asking if they can keep it down a bit, and then they choose to tell you to F**K OFF and slam the front door closed with you still between the door and the frame..... A knuckle sandwich was the only thing left to offer.

Not with half of ASN standing with yer mate :)

Yep! I'll hurl my armrest through his window..... as long as someone goes and gets it back for me as it took ages to find one on ebay.

Well, hopefully it doesn't go down that route for us. It's a bit gutting as we've just moved to the new house, and suddenly they have a house party. The neighbours said it isn't too often to be fair, but they're proper chavvy, so can't wait to get rid of them.

Oh, and that armrest line cracked me up.

And Nige...I'm a brave man when stood behind 200 others :) Forum meet at my house? lol

Woah woah woah...that wasn't the official invite to the ASN great wife-swap event. (Although perhaps it should be!!!) Although all that will happen is 200 men turn up without women and all expect a turn on my wife, haha! Houston 500 anyone? Anyone?
