Recently bought a 2007 A4 B7 3.2Q and its getting thru a lot of oil...had an oil change 2400 miles ago and warning light is back on. Does anyone know of this and could it cause a problem?

Sometimes after oil change you need to re top up after similar miles. How low was the oil on the dipstick??
