Hello, good day and Happy New Year ( which marks the start for mods for our B8.5 A4 1.8T Multitronic. )

Currently it's not the engine breaking I'm worried about ( i am fairly confident that the engine will hold up even after some serious mods ) but I'm more concerned towards our CVT Multitronic ( our tuner did warn us about this that our 'box won't hold more than 360Nm of torque.. ) I'm wondering, is an S-Tronic / DSG gearbox swap possible to our unit? ( I don't care about the prices, I'm more worried would it work or not ) please help us, thanks!

Mods currently in:
Cende Full turboback decat valvetronic system ( with catbacks ),
Forge Motorsports Blow-off Valve,
Racechip Pro2 ChipTuning,
Racechip ResponseControl.

Upcoming mods:
ARMA carbon fiber intake kit
ETuners Stage 2 software ECU flash,
an IS20 turbo swap ( ours was IS12 originally ),
Snow Performance Stage 2 Max Power Water Methanol Injection Kit,
ETuners Stage 3 software ( after turbo swap )
other preparations will be done during pre-Stage 3 works such as:
uprated fuel pumps and fuel injectors and other necessary preparations.

not be worth going for a manual box, be a cheaper and more reliable option over S tronic, and tiptronic is generally on quattro cars

I agree with youngy93 just fit a manual, the S-tronic while it may be a good box, if you had any problems with the hydraulic control unit you'd know about it. Tiptronic wise you'll need a rear diff and two driveshafts.
