Gearbox oil ????

Hi guys,
In a few weeks i am havin my gearbox reconditioned as the synchro's have gone in 2nd and 3rd. (6 speed manual).
Also replacing the clutch and changing the gearbox oil.
Can someone tell me what gearbox oil i need to use and how much i need.

mate i changed my gearbox oil a few weeks ago in work. according to our data you need 75w/90 synthetic 2.3 litres . i drive a 1.9 tdi 130 brake 02 plate. hope this helps..

Officially you need a GL4 compliant Oil for gear box and a GL5 for the rear diff. There are plenty of oils out there which are both GL4 & 5 compliant. I used Fuchs Titan 75w-90.

GO TO AUDI AND BUY IT FROM THEM!!

They wil sell you the exact amount required for not much, it cost me about £10.
