I find if I drive in a spirited manner in dynamic mode for more than about 10mins the gear changes seem to be less sharp, when I then slow at junctions etc in 1st & 2nd gear the car clunks in and out of gear, the idle revs bounce and it difficult to drive smoothly as the throttle is also jerky. This is especially noticeable when the car has been on track and I've always suspected this is caused by the gearbox getting hot.
Once cooled down the gearbox and throttle are fine again nice and smooth with no issues so i don't think its a mechatronics issue.
Has anyone fitted an additional gearbox oil cooler to an S4 to help with this problem?
I know the OE gearbox oil cooler is in the drivers side of the main radiator and wondered if its possible to tap in to the oil feed lines to put in an additional cooler behind one of the fog lights.
