Gearbox oil change - 6 speed manual

Dawned on me that our 2003 3.0 v6 petrol cab has never had the gearbox oil changed (currently at 120k miles) so, after some advice please guys:

What gearbox oil do i need, and what quantity?

is is a simple jack up on level ground, remove fill plug first, then drain plug, and refil with new oil until it runs out the fill hole?

Any pointers or advice greatly appreciated

They're always 2.? L so 3x1L needed .
