Garage floor

Hi Neil, I painted my own garage floor red (and the walls white to reduce the brick dust!) with the paint and it has worked well. I think we've repainted the floor twice in 8 years. You will get some surface paint lift if you put the cars in the garage when the tyres are hot. Super sticky tyres like the Toyo R888 were the worst for causing paint lift. This is only a small area though and easy to touch in. Rock salt in winter also gets under the edges of the paint.

I'm just about to move to tiles myself as part of our earlier discussion about garage doors.

Had these down for 3-years now and there good for at least another three:

Advertised on eBay but I went to collect/view, these guys are in Worcester

Easy to lay, easy to clean, easy to replace. Ok, I can move 'em some when manouvering the car (or using the trolly jack) but then I just lift 'em and drop 'em down again. Cheap enough to get a packet or two for spares...
