I’m trying to set basic settings for luggage compartment cover, but getting an error (check the attachment) Does anyone know what G758 sensor is and where it’s located?

You've not got much detail in your post and Google does not seem to yield much on what G758 is...

What car have you got? Is it Avant or Saloon, year?

With VCDS, what module are you within?

I had a quick look on ETKA & found the Avant tailgate module, is it this?

Hi, sorry for the lack of info in my post.
So I have avant and the luggage compartment cover is stopped working.
I tried to set basic settings but I faced the following errors in VCDS:

I think you're referring to the cover the moves up & down as you open/close the boot?

On ETKA, I have found the following based on a 2019 B9.

8W9 863 560 is the part number for the motor. It's ~£550 from Audi.

I have zero experience with whether this will fix it but normally when the hall sensor is causing issues, it needs replacing.

Before doing anything, I would do the 'easy' stuff first:
  1. Check the cover moves freely by hand
  2. Nothing is jammed in the runners
  3. Inspect the unit for corrosion/clean contacts
For finding it etc you can subscribe to ErWin for the day & download all the manuals for your VIN.

As I said, I have zero experience but the above is how I'd tackle the problem - else, I'd just leave the cover tucked away and forget about it.

Sorry I can't be more help.

The thing is that I changed 8W9 863 560 already and getting the same error.
Today I tried to unplug the motor and got extra error next to the following error "0033 - Sensor for Load Space Cover"
Looks like this is different sensor somewhere in trunk.
