FZ28/FZ38 or DSLR

Hi,

Recently been looking at the Panasoinc DMC FZ28 however, for capturing moving abject the FZ38 is going to be slightly better also giving 12mp rather than 10. Both have 18x optical.
...or... do I go DSLR. ideally not wanting to spend more than £300, maybe £350.

What are people thoughts?
Anyone actually got a FZ28 or 38?
