Funny noise when releasing rev's

Hi all,

Need your opinions. When I am accelerating, at about over 2500rpm, when releasing the accelerator (and/or) pressing the clutch, I get a whirling sound. I got a Audi S3 (Jan 09). It only started making the sound about 4 months ago. It's like the sound you would hear in a powerful Evo when valve dumping!

Is this a normal sound on S3's? Or should I be worried, there's no warning light or performace degredation. I do have a remap, but have put it to stock mode for a while.
