its been posted many times before judging by my search so i wont bore you all with the details, i got that its in the fuel tank itself, can be accessed via the boot and the general feeling is that i shouldnt spark up a smoke whilst doing this job

but can anyone tell me once im in the tank, where abouts i should be looking (or is it painfully obvious?)
and
how the sender is secured within the tank, ie how do i remove it (or is this obvious too)

was thinking of giving it all a bit of a clean before spending £40 on a new sender or is it one of those jobs you would rather spend the extra cash to not have to do it all over again in a weeks time?

thanks in advance guys
