Fuel Filler cap stuck on S4

My Fuel filler cap appears to be stuck and not opening. Managed to get it open after about 2 minutes of pressing it and now it won’t open at all! Anyone else had this problem?

There is a a emergency release within the boot, however the lock may well just need a bit of lubrication as it could just be dirty
Actually, do you mean the cap or the flap?

The actual flap you push in to get it to open .

Ah, that does have a release in the right hand trim inside the boot...

I had the same problem on my S3. I found locking/unlocking the car a few times eventually released it - til the next time.

Funny you should post, this weekend oiled the release mechanism on mine as was hardly opening and had to pull with my finger nails to open it. All sorted again now.

I've also found its been a bit sticky on my S4.

It's probably the weather combined with all the crud they put on the roads. I hardly do any mileage and never had an issue...
