Hey guys,

Could do with some advice as usual. My A3 2.0 tdi 140 (remapped) turbo blew a couple of months ago. It really went pop and then came the james bond smoke screen came out the back and then loss of power. It was duly towed to our local garage (not audi).
The broken turbo was replaced with a refurbished turbo and we had the oil filter changed. Everything seemed fine, except the fuel consumption had dropped considerably. I put this down to the bedding in of the turbo initially.
I drive my car quite hard all the time so it was not a change in driving style. Whereas the minimum return used to be 41mpg and top out at 60mpg, i now average about 36 mpg and struggle to keep it in the 40's even on the motorway.
This has now been the same for the last 3 months.
Im planning on getting the car serviced to see whether that will help however does anyone have any ideas why the car is drinking more fuel now?
Any sensible comments are greatly appreciated as always.
