Front Wipers

Is there a relay or fuse that controls these.
I did a search and found loads on the mechanism getting stuck but nothing else.

They just stopped on me last night one min they were working the next min completely dead. No slowing down before just working fine then not.
Other than that i think it must be the motor.

I'd imagine there will be both a relay and a fuse, although the relay might only come in on intermittant...

Take a look in the cars handbook, it should show you which to check.

I couldn't find a dead fuse, it could be the stalk but the rear wiper and the front washer still works.

Hmm, does sound very like the motor then, you could always try disconnecting the linkage and see if the motor can turn on its own/check if the linkage is siezed.

Good idea, going to try these things later on, any idea how much a new motor is?

Will probably still be the linkage seizing I'm afraid. Why do you think it's electrical?

Becasue it was working fine with no issue, then the next time i went to use it 5 min later it was dead.
