I know there have been many posts put on here about Upgraded Brakes, Whats best! What size! what make blah blah blah.
After reading a good few posts i opted for a pretty simple upgrade for my A3 2.0 TDI.
I mangaed to find (on ebay) a set of Golf MK5 GTI Front Calipers, Combined this with Red Stuff pads and 312mm Drilled and grooved discs from the supplier MTEC.
Ian (Sproat99) had a set of Rear MK5 GTI Calipers/discs and pads for sale which i also snapped up. The whole lot was due to get fitted yesterday however i hadnt considered Splash Guards for the rear so although everything goes on really easy it will be next week when the rears are fitted as i had to order MK5 splash guards from VW Bristol.
In total the whole set up has cost under £500, and although the fronts are still bedding in there is a definate better bite!
