Very true. But it just take away that little bit of exclusivity away from buying the S3. You want it to be that little bit different compared to the rest of the range. I'm sure the RS3 Supersport Seats will have `RS3` on them, and not just `S`
Nope just RS and no Model designation/digit and it's the same throughout their entire model line up, but having no number 3 on the head restraints is rather stingy although it doesn't bother me to be honest
Yep can now use the same Seats, Steering Wheel, Sill Trims on an S-Line
The thing that got me on my facelift is that they have also changed the dash to S which bearing in mind is only used in the S3 because S-Lines don't get the useless boost gauge
Defo money saving yet you pay a premium for an S3 so a bit penny pinching if you ask me and does devalue their own brand - ****** accountants

Yeah its a joke, just looks like a S-line *** - same with the caliper clips. Pre facelift had S3 but now they have just the S
My 2015 Q3 s-line plus had the same, just thought fit the extra £’s it would have the S3 to set it aside from the s-line, but on a cheerier note, I’ve been given a delivery date of approximately early June for my S3 sportback, black edition in daytona grey with all my extras.

Certainly do,just collected my 2018 RS3 last week my Super Sport Seats have RS on them, I think it is also on the normal sport seats in the RS3

It's both... LOL. It doesn't photograph well. The other four colors got matching stitching in a deeper color. The yellow is sort of a lighter, almost pastel shade.
... or I guess it could just be that it's difficult to photograph. A press photo:
