Front/slam panels 05-08 and 08-on !?

guys i have a small crack in the plastic surrounding the slam panel and looked into a new bit of plastic as when the engine is on show its been noticed by a couple of ppl and it gets to me, however its part of the full plastic front panel

just wondering if anyone knows if the front plastic panels are the same on the 05-08 a3's as it is on the newer shapes ? as theres a cheap one iv found at the mo but is off a newer sportback

help asap if poss thanks

The facelift front panels are completely different and won't fit pre 08 reg cars. You would need a front panel off a 2004-2008 car. Doesn't matter if its a diesal, petrol, hatchback or sportback as they are all the same...

It does matter. It's all part of the grill, which is different on the S3.

its pretty fun lol i dont use it a lot to be honest the weathers terrible and it would just be pointless miles i cant wait for summer
