Front camera retrofit

Hi Guys,

New A6 doesn't have front sensors so I'm looking at the possibility of putting a camera on the fron instead.

Has anyone done this or know how i can get it to come up on the screen? i was hoping this would be an alternative to retro fitting sensors...

Any help would be great.

Only way would be via a video input & switch to the screen, but its not auto, so I would say sensors are more effective tbh & less hassle in daily use.

I don't mind the switching, but you're right. Sensors make sense.

Sensors would require a new front bumper, 4 sensors, wiring harness and a replacement parking control module. You could add a camera but that is also going to cost a fair amount of cash.

You will also need to paint the sensors the right colour for your car
