Front Camera - Product Safety Recall...

Has anyone else had a letter from their dealer about a product safety recall (on the front camera)???

Mines booked in but I couldn't get any information from them on what it was for.

99% sure it’s the windscreen

It's the only one I have (except for the reversing camera) so I'd say so.

Had mine done at the last service, I was told it is a update to the camera not just a recalibration...

I've had update Service Update Campaign Code 90k9 "Servicing of front camera" completed at the last service last month.

I am not sure but I think they just perform this update when the car is in for a service. Not a recall so no letters required..

I was just assuming that from Grumpz saying 'Has anyone else had a letter from their dealer' it meant that he'd had one. If not then I don't know when I'd get it done because I don't go to Audi for any servicing anyway.

Maybe some dealerships are sending letters out, but not AudiUK. Don't know really but I didn't get anything, they just told me it had been done when I went to collect the car..

Correct, my letter was from the dealer, not Audi UK
