Front ashtray problem!

I got a ***** stuck inside the ashtray, its squeezed between the openings and I am struggling to get it out! Can the whole thing be removed easily! What can I do?

You'd need to take the centre console out the ashtray is part of it, if you take all the trim and stuff out the middle you can get to the screws down the sides and it lifts out

You could just try levering the gap open a bit and pull it with long nose plyers ?
