It’s took me a while but I finally found the right one for me. I hope!
97k miles but not much history unfortunately, however over the coming months I’ll be hopefully building up some expensive receipts ;)
The car is totally standard and does need little bits to tidy it up and get it up to my standard, any help and advice much appreciated.

It looks a lot like mine
I’ve been reading your thread over the past month or so and I’m very impressed, will be taking note of some of the mods. I’m a massive fan of OEM look, I’ll be trying to get the car back the condition it was back in 2003, more so mechanically than bodywork for now.

Regrettably got rid of my 2018 S3 for a boring family merc estate so then I got an 8p S3 with wingbacks, the car was immaculate. And now I’ve got an original S3 which I’m hoping to have for many years to come.

How do you find the 8V compared to the 8L? I just upgraded to a Noggy 8V from a Noggy 8L. The difference in terms of tech and performance is night/day, but the looks of the 8L are still amazing.....in a retro kind of way (and the blue alcantara seats are epic). Family and friends are hounding at me to sell the 8L but I just know I’ll regret it and end up doing what you’re doing if I do sell it. So I’m doing it up and making it mintier than mint! Good to have you back. Look after the 8L. Too many have been ruined by chavs.

The 8v is mega in every way! I enjoy driving them just as much as the other but in different ways, I drive the 8L more carefully and appreciate it more as I know if I wanted I could go and get a 10k miles 8v at the drop of a hat but I’d struggle to get a 100k miles 8L! I love them both. My 8L is going on a journey of perfection haha far from the imagination of any chav! Keep yours mate.

I had a Dolphin grey 8L back in 2007 from Preston Audi with 32k on the clock, I’ve loved them ever since and this one brings back some good memories.

Trip to ADS Automotive today for a thorough health check and future work planned :)
