Found a spray mist of oil behind the block yesterday - i would imagine it would be around the turbo area.....

Potential oil-feed pipe split?....any other possibilities?

Oil feed pipe is solid so I doubt its that... oil in that region is normally coming from the head... rocker gasket typically... I would be looking at eliminating oil leaks further up first, clean up stuff and see what returns... other possibilities are the std TIP if you have not gone silicon..

Compressor housing normally covered in oil if the rocker gasket goes...

If the turbo has been off then it could be the seals if they haven't been replaced or the banjo tightened correctly

I had the oil return pipe go on me a few months back. Worth a check?

Thanks tuffty,

Car's been feeling weird the past few days, kinda "raspy"

I know the transfer box seal has a kink in it and leaks a fanny full every few months, but never noticed anything on the driverway or out and about.

On a 1-10 scale, how difficult is a TIP on your own with jacks....or would ramps be better>?
