So my car is currently stage 1+ Apr making a very reasonable 335bhp, I'm almost done sourcing and installing parts for stage 2+, Loba pump fitted, Wagner cooler fitted, revo intake fitted, Bcs currently being made should have it by next week and spec clutch on its way from America.
So I have been in the process of phoning around for prices on clutch fitting I've had prices from £300 to £500 but I wouldn't trust half of the garages around by me as I spent 10 minutes with one garage arguing that my car had a dmf and I'm installing a smf which he claimed the petrols are already smf... safe to say I won't be goin there. The £500 price was from an Audi specialist which would be my choice but a lot of money which gets me on to the topic that my good friend is a mechanic and helped me install all my parts so far including coilovers and brakes for free well not exactly free he'll be having a few favours back no doubt, so fitting a clutch on the drive will be a bit too much of a difficult job wrestling sub frames and gearboxes on the floor under a car on axle stands so with the almost release of the tte480 I'm considering selling my other track bike which is be hoping to get around £3.5k for and take out the engine making it easier to fit the clutch and forge it while it's out clean everything up and buy the new turbo if the price is right new hoses etc, is there anything else I'm goin to need? Or need changing?
Any advice would be great cheers
