hopefully someone on here will have a better idea then me about this
My friend has a 2003 ford c max 1.8 duratech
He’s just had a common pipe replaced that splits between the engine and manifold. Drives much much better but now when he’s pulling away slowly or coming to a junction the cars wanting to stall, sometimes it does sometimes it doesn’t. I don’t think he’s ever noticed it as with the split pipe the car would never drop below 1500rpm ( now sits at 850)
I’m going to remove the maf and iacv sensir and clean them in the hope that will fix it. I might also clean the throttle body ( don’t know if this could cause this problem )
Anything else I could try ?? There’s no eml or codes stored.
Thanks
