Does anyone know if these fit a B6 (S4?), test drove a 58 plate S3 last week and the only thing I preferred it to my S4 is the steering wheel!!!!

Chris

I'd be interested in this as well - been think of an RS4 flat bottom wheel

yeah that one would be nice as well.... Decided to keep my now so want to spruce her up a little!! White vinyl wrap is coming off, may go matt black!!!!

Hazzydayz specialise in retro fitting later vag steering wheels onto early cars such as flat bottomed and mfsw's, very professionally done but pricey, as mentioned in other threads it's the fact that the late flat bottomed and mfsw's all have dual stage airbags where as the b6 is single stage, that's where the problem lies. If not connected up properly with a bit of modifying to the wiring then the airbag won't deploy.

i have a flat bottom s3 or a tt which ever 1 you want with and with or with out multi function (steering wheel only) pm more details..

Blimey works out £1100 fitted with the different airbag from Hazzydayz!! :S!!

forget hazzydays, do it yourself or get a member near you to help out.
ive had a bad experience with him, hes been found to be ripping off a few members i know of.
i had the flatbottom in my cab, lovely mod

Oh, that's good to know. Thanks

I've never had anything but good expereriences with HazzyDayz... and as you can see I've had a fair few electrical upgrades with them.

And they are pricey, but only use top quality parts, so I can't complain really: given that the cheapest price I could get a brand new R8 FBMFSW was about £800 (excl the airbag control module, B7 slipring, etc)... and that's about what they charge for all the parts and fitting it.

(Snooper Lynx, instead of the Snooper S6 and the Freeview+ TV tuner):

i paid £148 for my flatbottom and £85 for airbag , £90 for module, massive saving, i fitted cruise control at the same time.
exactly the same as lostys.

That looks really smart mate, was it a pain to fit?

Hi mate, hope your well - couple of things - this may sound daft but where did you buy your steering wheel? thats a great price!

Also, I have got a pair of 8inch Alpine screens for my headrests - I've not fitted them yet but I know I'm going to have some bulging in the rest itself - how did you find yours? Happy?

Cheers

VERY impressive!! I assume accident salvage job where the airbag had deployed, but no damage to the wheel?

Mine was done over 2 yrs ago, R8 was still VERY new and there weren't even the flat-bottom RS4 wheels on the market, let alone the R8 ones: like I've said > €800 new just for the wheel.
