I bought a set of lowering springs for my 1.8t SE and the quotes I'm getting for fitting is about £150+. Near enough how much the springs cost!

Does that price sound about right?

Springs are eibach sportlines if that makes any difference.

IM in Northern Ireland and it £20 per corner. I paid £80 for my ones fitted bud.

I paid £150 for my A5 to be done from an
Independent vag specialist with lots of knowledge and experience and ex audi technician.
Would not really trust a cheap outfit

my ones where fitted by an Independent vag specialist with lots of knowledge and experience and ex audi technician. He charged £80. Car had under 1000 miles on it, so wasn't going to back street Machanic.

Fear the pinch bolt!
3 hours labour to fit mine as pinch bolts were seized!
He had to drop the sub frame on mine!
No easy task by any means, and he factored this into the quote

There is no pinch bolt to undo on the B8 to change out the springs and shockers. I did the springs on mine, fairly straightforward I thought except the rear springs which are a **** to get out. Not so much problem putting the new ones in as they were a lot shorter.
