Fitting cruise control part number help

I want to fit cruise control to my 2002 B6 A4 avant sport. My moduale part number ends with ( s). Been told this only does DIS also letter F , been to audi and thay say I need part number 8eo 953 549( P)to fit cruise control to my car, but would last letter N,R,Q do the same job. Also is B6 same as B7 I will be fittig it myself but not got vagcom yet, does anybody have vagcom in Stoke on Trent or nearby and how much .
