some times but not every time when starting first time in morning the first few seconds are are little lumpy then runs fine

after that it's fine all day long first turn the key starts no probs.

ANY IDEAS ?

was thinking changing glow plugs ?

no fault codes in vcds

Hard to say with the specific maps / egr delete.

Obvious guess is air / fuel mix, so as you say, if glow plugs are old will it be as a result of map over fuelling slightly at cold start and drenching the glow plugs? Dirt in the fuel system???? When was it last serviced?

did it before the map glow plugs are 3 years old from gsf

Have you had any cold mornings to warrant plug usage, as hasnt exactly been freezing & they only get used at low temps.

no cold mornings here have ordered a set anyway and some fuel cleaner.

Assume fuel supply is fine, have you detach fuel lines 1st thing before morning start, stick pipe in a jug & get someone to turn over & see if the fuel is coming through pressured straight away or stumbles as such.
